Bill O'Reilly to Newsmax TV: Dems Can't Charge Barr With Contempt

(Newsmax TV's "The Wayne Allyn Root Show")

Lawmakers have no authority to charge Attorney General William Barr — or anyone, for that matter — with contempt of Congress, Bill O'Reilly told Newsmax TV.

O'Reilly was on Monday's "The Wayne Allyn Root Show" and discussed a Democratic ploy to hold Barr in contempt for not providing them with an unredacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian election interference. Some Democrats have said the report shows President Donald Trump obstructed justice.
