American Action Network took out full-page ads in multiple newspapers to thank House Republican leaders for passing tax reform, Politico reports.
AAN ran the ads for House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., and Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady, R-Texas, in the Houston Chronicle and four Wisconsin papers: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Racine Journal Times, Janesville Gazette and Kenosha News.
"Thank Paul Ryan," or "thank Kevin Brady," the ads say above a picture of either Ryan or Brady, "for helping middle-class families by delivering historic tax reform for the first time in over 30 years."
Near the bottom, the ads note that the bill: "lowers individual taxes, nearly doubles the standard deduction and will save the average middle-class family $2,000+."
