President Donald Trump's public attack of U.S. intelligence agencies during his G-20 trip had the effect of "undermining his country's own position," a renowned resistance flag waver against the U.S. president, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., tweeted Sunday.

President Trump has widely been panned for his denial of U.S. intelligence claims Russia was the sole perpetrator of U.S. election hacking of the DNC.

Schiff, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, was responding to President Trump's Sunday morning tweetstorm upon his return from G-20.

Schiff, arguably President Trump's most frequent critic, has been tasked with challenging the White House on all things Russia and election meddling amid the House probe. Schiff's critical tweet Sunday morning took an added shot at the president's worldly negotiation strategies and the title of his famed book, "Trump: The Art of the Deal."
