A new $500,000 digital ad campaign to promote tax reform has been started by the American Action Network, The Hill reports.
The ads come a week before a group of Republican lawmakers and administration officials are planning to detail a framework for a tax code overhaul.
The latest ad by AAN highlights a Wisconsin couple, the Hill noted. The two were featured in an earlier AAN television ad.
"My husband and I both work and Jim even started his own business," a woman identified as Lindsay Pratt says in the ad.
Her husband, Jim, adds: "So, a little tax relief from Congress with a simpler, fairer tax code gives working families like ours peace of mind."
AAN, which is aligned with House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., is focusing the ads on 41 congressional districts — many of them in California, Illinois and New York, the Hill reported.
"Conservatives are on the right track and have a winning message on pro-growth tax reform: cut taxes on working families, keep and create jobs here at home, and eliminate loopholes for special interests," AAN Executive Director Corry Bliss said.
