Ann Coulter: Republicans Who Work With Hillary Are 'Traitors'

Conservative author and ardent Donald Trump supporter told The Washington Examiner in an interview Wednesday that any Republican who works with Hillary Clinton if she is elected president is a traitor to the United States.

Coulter was responding to conservative Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King, who said earlier this month, that if Clinton wins he could work with her.

"I've sat across the table with Hillary Clinton eye-to-eye, and when you're working outside of staff and outside of the press, she is somebody I can work with," King said.

Coulter disagreed, telling the Examiner:

"Any Republican who says he can work with Hillary Clinton is a traitor to the nation. It's finished."

If Clinton wins, Coulter said, both the Republican Party and the United States as a whole are finished.

"It was fun while it lasted but the country is finished," she said. "She and [vice presidential nominee] Tim Kaine have vowed to push through amnesty. … You grant amnesty, there will be a rush for a border. … It's over. It's over if she's elected. … Go to a Cubs game and see how many people are in the stands because when you can't win, nobody cares anymore."
