Ari Fleischer on Wednesday said President Donald Trump had better jack up his approval rating or else Democratic turnout will kill Republicans in the 2018 midterms.

The former White House press secretary under President George W. Bush was reacting to Tuesday night's stunning and historic victory by Democrat Doug Jones in dead-red Alabama.

Trump's approval rating fell to a new low of 32 percent last week, according to Pew Research.
