The Arizona Republican Party late Monday issued a thinly veiled call for political violence, asking supporters if they were willing to die in the fight over the 2020 election results.

The party retweeted “Stop the Steal” organizer Ali Alexander's boast that he’d be "willing to give my life for this fight."

“He is. Are you?” the Arizona GOP’s Twitter account asked.

Shortly after, the state GOP Twitter account shared a clip of the fourth “Rambo” movie, where Sylvester Stallone's character tells his posse: “This is what we do, who we are. Live for nothing, or die for something," Yahoo news reported.

The tweet was promptly taken down.

Arizona is one of several battleground states that went to Joe Biden where President Donald Trump and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani have been trying to overturn the election results.

Giuliani met with with Republican lawmakers and other leaders in the state days before it was announced he’d been hospitalized with COVID-19. The Arizona state legislature closed in the wake of the news, the Arizona Republic reported.

The Electoral College meets next week to confirm the election that shows Joe Biden won.
