President Donald Trump is statistically tied with former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in the state of Florida, according to a Florida Atlantic University poll released Wednesday.
Among Democrats, Biden leads the field with 34%, followed by Warren at 24% and Sanders at 14%.
Trump's best support is against Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., as the president leads with a 52%-48% advantage.
Trump won electoral-vote-rich swing states such as Ohio and Florida in 2016, though recent polls suggest a possible tossup for the president in the southeastern state considered one of the most important to win in presidential elections.
Among Floridians, the most important issues were the economy (21%), immigration (19 %), healthcare (18%), the environment (11%) gun control and foreign policy and terrorism (9%), social issues (5%), education, and impeachment.
The poll was conducted Sept. 12-15 among 934 registered voters. The margin of error is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
