Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., will continue his tradition of giving a State of the Union response Tuesday night after President Donald Trump speaks.

According to The Hill, Sanders will deliver a speech following Trump's State of the Union, which he has done the previous two years. Sanders' speech will be streamed live on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.

Sanders will speak at the same time as former Georgia candidate for governor Stacey Abrams, who will give the Democrats' official response to the State of the Union. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra is slated to give the Democratic response in Spanish.

Sanders often speaks after Trump addresses the nation, including Trump's recent primetime address on border security.

Sanders, 77, unsuccessfully ran for president in the 2016 election. He is muling another run for next year.

The State of the Union was originally scheduled for Jan. 29, but the partial government shutdown forced House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to postpone the speech until the government was reopened.
