Conservative voice Bill Kristol on Thursday ripped Republicans' healthcare legislation, saying "it's going to fall apart."
Part of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" panel talking about the American Healthcare Act, the founder of The Weekly Standard was incredulous that the White House didn't take the legislation on a road show to first curry some support from the healthcare community.
"This is Politics 101, every White House does this," Kristol told the panel. "They are so intoxicated with the notion that Trump's going to bless it; Paul Ryan's worked it out, he's a smart guy; Trump has this magic potion that he just slaps on something and it goes sailing through.
"The failure to really plan this is really astonishing," Kristol said.
Kristol said lawmakers are eventually going to get pushback from hospitals and healthcare professionals in their communities and start thinking twice.
"It's going to fall apart," Kristol said. "There will not be a vote."
