Rasmussen: Cantwell Leads Baumgartner, 52-37 in Washington Senate Race

Democratic incumbent Maria Cantwell continues to hold a commanding lead over Republican challenger Michael Baumgartner in Washington State’s U.S. Senate race, according to Rasmussen Reports.

A Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely Washington voters finds Cantwell earning 52 percent support, while Baumgartner, a state senator, draws 37 percent of the vote. One percent prefers some other candidate, and 9 percent are undecided.

The survey of 500 likely voters was conducted on Oct. 14 and released on Sunday with a margin of sampling error of +/- 4.5 percentage points and a 95 percent level of confidence.
