A “Jews for Trump” caravan closed down a New Jersey highway for a short time Sunday, the Ashbury Park Press reported.

The caravan, billed as part of several "MAGA Drags" planned across the state in line with Trump's slogan to "Make America Great Again," backed traffic up for about five miles.

Organizers said the events gave Trump supporters the opportunity to show their support for the president, who trails in the polls in New Jersey.

Hillary Clinton won New Jersey by 14 percentage points four years ago. The state is considered a Democratic stronghold, according to The Hill.

According to a poll released by Rutgers-Eagleton last week, Biden is leading Trump by 24 percentage points in the state.

The incident in New Jersey comes two days after a Friday incident in which a pro-Trump caravan allegedly harassed a Biden campaign bus as it drove from San Antonio to Austin, needing police assistance to complete its destination, according to the Business Insider.
