Former GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina not only said "of course" she was a victim of sexual harassment, but also "every woman I know was," she told "Fox News Sunday."
"Was I propositioned? Of course," Fiorina added to "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace. "Was I introduced as a bimbo? Of course.
". . . this is common occurrence, unfortunately."
Fiorina said the "perennial" abuse of power by men over women has gone on for decades and will not stop until men step up and say "Are we going to stop tolerating this behavior?"
"Men need to decide, 'I am not going to respect a man who disrespects women; I'm going to withhold my respect from him – unless he respects others,'" Fiorina said.
"That would be a watershed moment."
Fiorina's appearance came on a day President Donald Trump tweeted a rebuke of Democrat Doug Jones amid sexual misconduct allegations against his Republican opponent in the Alabama Senate special election Dec. 12, Judge Roy Moore.
"Well that is politics, isn't Chris?" Fiorina told Wallace. "This is all about politics. That's why when politicians talk about this, it doesn't have a lot of credibility. This has been going on in politics for a very long time.
"Democrats trying to defend their own. Republicans trying to defend their own. It's a little bit like George Washington warned us 200 years ago. The problem with politics and political parties is they will care about winning above all else.
"Donald Trump cares about a vote in the Senate – no more, no less."
