Hillary Clinton has gotten a nice, 7-point bounce from her party's convention in Philadelphia with a restored lead over Donald Trump,
according to a new CNN/ORC Poll.
In a two-way head-to-head match-up, Clinton tops Trump 52 percent to 43 percent, and in a four-way match-up including third party candidates Gary Johnson and Jill Stein, Clinton leads 45 percent to 37 percent with Johnson at 9 percent and Stein at 5 percent.
Clinton's convention also appears to have boosted the share of Americans who think her policies will move the country in the right direction. That has grown 43 percent before either convention to 48 percent now. Trump's right direction number held roughly steady following the back-to-back political gatherings in Cleveland and Philadelphia.
