Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton shot back at President Donald Trump after he tweeted "crooked" Clinton should enter the 2020 presidential race.

Clinton wrote in a tweet:

"Don't tempt me. Do your job."

Trump tweeted Clinton could return if she explained her "high crimes and misdemeanors," referring to the email scandal.

"I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren," Trump wrote, referring to Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

"Only one condition. The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting 'C' Subpoena!" he added.

Clinton, who lost the 2016 presidential election, does not intend on running.

"I'm not running, but I'm going to keep on working and speaking and standing up for what I believe," she said in March. "I want to be sure that people understand I'm going to keep speaking out. I'm not going anywhere."

Trump has repeatedly attacked Clinton throughout his presidency.

Clinton last month called the president a "corrupt human tornado."

"I believe that, look there were many funny things that happened in my election that will not happen again," Clinton said. "And I'm hoping that both the public and press understand the way Trump plays the game."
