President-elect Donald Trump's choices of who will serve in his administration could be seen as a "monster's ball," a former top strategist to President Barack Obama said Friday.
In a series of posts on Twitter, David Axelrod provided his feelings on how Trump's administration is shaping up personnel-wise.
Trump has two members of his cabinet already selected — Vice President-elect Mike Pence and Attorney General Jeff Sessions. He's also announced who will fill several high-level roles, including his chief of staff (Reince Priebus), chief strategist (Steve Bannon), national security advisor (Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn), and CIA director (Mike Pompeo).
Trump is expected to announce other members of his administration in the coming days and weeks.
Some critics have pointed to Trump's pledge to "drain the swamp," saying he's not doing that and instead hiring people with vast political connections to work under him.
