Dem Sen. Brian Schatz Calls Week a 'Sh— Show'

A Democratic lawmaker called the week of scandalous Washington, D.C. news a "sh— show" in a Twitter post Friday afternoon that's been liked and retweeted thousands of times.

Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, tweeted this:

Sorry for yelling guys. BUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS S@#%SHOW THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO TAKE AWAY YOUR HEALTHCARE AND RUIN THE INTERNET.

Schatz's tweet comes at the end of a week that was packed with breaking political news — most of it surrounding the investigation into whether President Donald Trump and/or someone on his campaign had improper dealings with Russia before last year's election.

Trump fired FBI Director James Comey last week for "not doing a good job," but some have suggested that Trump's decision to push out the nation's top cop had more to do with the Russia investigation that has dogged Trump since he took office in January.
