Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has the campaign funding and the political chops to beat a "flawed" and slipping Joe Biden, but not President Donald Trump, according to former GOP Gov. Chris Christie on Newsmax TV.

"Right now I think the one that is most ready, that has shown the most, is Elizabeth Warren," Christie told Monday's "The Howie Carr Show." "And if it's ever Elizabeth Warren, it will be an absolute donnybrook, and I think the president will take her on directly and will beat her soundly."

Christie told guest host Corey Lewandowski, the former Trump 2016 campaign manager, Warren lacks a middle-America message.

"I don't think she has one," Christie said. "I think it will be a very decisive win for the president if Elizabeth Warren is the nominee."

Christie admits Warren is well-funded and has "handled herself well twice on the debate stage."

"And because I do think Biden is flawed," Christie added, predicting President Trump could win 350 electoral votes against Warren, who would take just the bluest of states.

"Right now the popular thing to say, the conventional wisdom, is Joe Biden is so damaged, so bumbling that he can't make it out of it," Christie said.
