Former Vice President Joe Biden entered into a contentious exchange with a worker who asked if Biden would “take away our guns,” while touring an in-construction auto plant in Detroit on Tuesday, the New York Post reports.

Biden, who is in Michigan for the state’s Democratic presidential primary, was confronted by a construction worker who asked if the former vice president was “actively trying to end our Second Amendment right and take away our guns.”

In a video of the exchange shared by CBS News correspondent Bo Erickson, the presidential contender responded, “You’re full of s---.”

He added, “I support the Second Amendment, The Second Amendment, just like right now if you yell fire, that’s not free speech. From the very beginning, I have a shotgun, I have a 20-gauge, 12-gauge, my sons hunt. … I’m not taking your gun away at all.”

The man then claims to have seen a video of Biden and former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who endorsed Biden’s presidential campaign saying they would take people’s guns away.

“I did not say that. That’s not true. I did not say that,” Biden said.

The construction worker, who is not named by the Post, insisted that the video has gone “viral.”

Biden then said that “we’ll take your AR-14s away,” to which the man said, “this is not ok.”

The former vice president then said, “don’t try me, pal. Do you want to go outside?”

The man then said, “you’re working for me, man.” To which Biden replied, “I’m not working. Give me a break, man, don’t be such a horse’s a--.”
