Live-stream video bloggers and social media personalities Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, known as Diamond and Silk, praised President Donald Trump’s for having “put his money where his mouth is.”
In an interview on Newsmax TV’s “Newsmax Now, the pair touted the “opportunity zones” program that grants tax breaks on capital gains to individuals who invest in any of 9,000 identified impoverished areas — a program created as part of the Republican tax bill.
“He’s doing what he’s said he’s gonna do,” Hardaway said. “Opportunity zones are happening and thriving… that’s great. President Trump has put his money where his mouth is.”
Richardson agreed, adding: “It’s giving people a second chance on life.”
Hardaway also lashed out at Democrats who “don’t like economic opportunities afforded to blacks… put us in a box.”
The pair also were dismissive of fellow billionaire Mike Bloomberg’s bid for the presidency.
“He got some kind of ego or… smart man complex, [spending] millions of dollars to beat Donald Trump,” Hardaway said, adding: “We already have a leader… he should be taking that $200 million and helping poor people.”
Richardson declared: “The person who can beat Donald Trump hasn’t been born yet.”
