Trump: Fox News 'More Important Than CNN'

Fox News is "much more important" than CNN, President Donald Trump tweeted Saturday.

"Fox News is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly. The outside world does not see the truth from them!" the president said.

Trump has blasted the "fake news" media since before he took office, and his latest social media criticism of the company comes following the Justice Department’s announcement that it would seek to block the AT&T-Time Warner merger because the agency says it would hurt competition and consumers. Time Warner owns CNN.

CNN fired back at Trump, saying it wasn't CNN's job to "represent the U.S. to the world."
