Trump Nominates Mark Meador for FTC

President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday nominated Mark Meador to be a commissioner on the Federal Trade Commission.

"I am pleased to nominate Mark R. Meador to be a Commissioner on the Federal Trade Commission," Trump said in a post to Truth Social. "Mark Meador is a partner at Kressin Meador Powers LLC, a boutique antitrust law firm. He previously served as Deputy Chief Counsel for Antitrust and Competition Policy to Senator Mike Lee, the senior Republican on the Senate Judiciary Antitrust Subcommittee."
