Donald Trump During Mic Check: 'I Love the Media'

At the Republican National Convention, during a mic check before his prime-time speech, Donald Trump spoke a rare sentence.

"I love the media," he said jokingly. "They're so honest. They're such honorable people."

The Hill reports dozens of people, including delegates, reporters, and party operatives, laughed at the remark. The Hill also notes that Trump hates the media, and often mocks reporters at events.

Trump went on to say that he loves Cleveland and admires the police.
