Trump Sons on GOP System: 'Bribery' to Take Away Delegates

Donald Trump's sons Don Jr. and Eric blasted the Republican party primary process on Tuesday, telling Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity that it is effectively "bribery" for Sen. Ted Cruz to work to switch delegates won by Trump if the convention goes beyond a first ballot.

"Bribing them. It's bribery," Don Trump Jr. said. "If we did that in business, you go to jail. How does it work in politics?"

"It's a crooked system," Eric Trump said.

"Look at Arizona," he said. "People are waiting in line for three or four hours in order to vote. So then you tell them that that vote meant nothing and they were just suggesting a candidate? Their vote didn't count for anything it was more of a suggestion than anything? That doesn't work. That's not democracy in play."

Should their father fall just shy of the 1,237 delegates needed then be denied the nomination it would destroy the party, Don Trump Jr. said.

"Why go through this process if that's going to happen," he said. "Why get people so vested if you are going to say … 'We were just kidding.' Sean, your vote doesn't matter. It's crazy. You are going to disenfranchise so many voters."
