President Donald Trump said Friday that the advancement of women entrepreneurs and American business leaders is one of his top priorities as commander-in-chief.

"To truly succeed as a country, we must realize our full potential of women in our economy," Trump said in a pre-taped, four-minute address to the nation, aired on Facebook Live.

"As president, I am committed to ensuring women entrepreneurs have equal access to the capitol, markets and networks of support that they need and, I mean, really need."

Trump also said his administration has taken "major" actions to strike down "wasteful regulations" that will let unemployed Americans work again.

That includes signing House Joint Resolution 38 "which eliminates an "anti-coal regulation" put forward by "unelected bureaucrats."

"Our coal miners have been treated horribly. And we are going to turn that around and we're going to turn it around quickly," Trump said, adding that it will lower energy costs for Americans.

He said he also signed a resolution to eliminate a "costly regulation Dodd-Frank imposed on American energy companies."

He also reiterated "America's commitment" with Israel and other partners to fight terrorism.

"The threat of terrorism, and believe me it is a threat, must be confronted and defeated — and we will defeat it," Trump said.

He concluded: "As you head into President's Day Weekend, the American people should know that we are working tirelessly on your behalf. We are not here for the benefit of bureaucrats, consultants and pundits. We are here to working for you and only you the American people."

Trump did not mention Thursday's contentious press conference in which he ripped members of the media.
