Donald Trump is chipping away at Hillary Clinton's lead, according to NBC News' presidential battleground map.
In mid-October, NBC projected that Trump would win 157 electoral votes. Now, that's up to 180, though Clinton is still favored to pass 270 electoral votes and win the White House.
Trump is now favored in Georgia and Iowa, while New Hampshire and North Carolina, previously leaning Democrat, could now go either way.
"We attribute these changes to the natural tightening of the race," according to NBC, "with Republican voters coming back home to Trump."
Four other states are considered tossups: Florida, Ohio, Arizona, and Utah. In order to take the White House, Trump must win every tossup state and flip at least one that leans Democrat, such as Michigan, Pennsylvania or Wisconsin.
Real Clear Politics presents a slightly less favorable map for Clinton, rating Virginia and Colorado as tossups, but the former Secretary of State is still closer to the necessary 270 electoral votes than Trump.
The real estate mogul celebrated this morning, after The Washington Post released a new tracking poll showing the GOP nominee tied with Clinton nationally.
