Freshman Sen. Elizabeth Warren insisted she is not running for president in an interview with ABC News, but still wouldn't say she thinks fellow Democrat Hillary Clinton would make a good commander in chief.
Reporter David Muir pressed Warren in an interview aired Monday about whether she would seek the 2016 Democratic nomination.
"I'm not running for president," Warren told Muir twice after he brought up multiple stories written about her possibly challenging the former secretary of state.
Pundits on the left have expressed interest in a Warren campaign that likely would be farther to the left than they expect from Clinton.
"Do you think Hillary Clinton would make a good president?" Muir then asked.
"I think Hillary Clinton is terrific," Warren answered, without specifically saying she would make a good president. "We've gotta stay focused on these issues right now."
