Eric Trump, after casting his vote for his father early Tuesday morning in New York, said being on the front lines of the election process has opened his eyes to how corrupt the system is.
"No one ever would have guessed it would have been this big," Trump told Fox News' "Fox and Friends" program. "I'm not a fan of people stealing emails but one thing WikiLeaks showed is how bad it is behind the scenes. It has to be cleaned up. The lack of ethics in the system, the amount of corruption in the system is horrible."
Americans want career politicians out of the way, said Trump, and nobody thinks Washington D.C. is helping the country.
Trump, also appearing on "CBS This Morning," predicted his father will win in battleground states such as Florida and Nevada,
"We're doing amazing in some places," Trump said, on the strength of early voting.
"There’s a lot of support out there," he said. "There’s a lot of support from Democrats. There's a lot of support from people who’ve never voted before.”
The GOP nominee will also need to win states such as Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan, and his son noted there are "six or seven different routes including Nevada, which traditionally never goes red, but I think it’ll go red this election cycle."
And even if Trump loses, his son doesn't think that will be the end of his political life or the movement he started, as "America is fed up."
