President Donald Trump slammed the "fake news media" on Wednesday for not fairly covering his remarks about the violence at a demonstration of white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The president's comments came in a tweet and made reference to those who attended a Trump rally in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday.
