German magazine Der Spiegel portrays President Donald Trump cutting off the head of the Statue of Liberty on its latest cover.

The magazine posted the cover on its Twitter account.

People on social media were already comparing it to the new cover of The New Yorker, which shows the flame of the Statue of Liberty's torch extinguished.

The Hill notes the covers came after Trump temporarily barred citizens of certain predominantly Muslim nations from entering the U.S.

Shortly after Trump signed the order, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer tweeted his own Statue of Liberty message.
