Glenn Beck Endorses Ted Cruz

Conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck Saturday officially endorsed Ted Cruz for the Republican presidential nomination, following a week of jabs against front-runner Donald Trump.

Beck made the announcement at a Cruz rally in Iowa, though he also said on Twitter:

I am officially endorsing Ted Cruz to become the first Hispanic president! @tedcruz #iacaucus

Beck and Trump have been trading verbal barbs all week.

The talk-show host claimed, for instance, that Trump voted for President Barack Obama in 2008 — while developer has slammed Beck as a "wacko" and has charged that Cruz turned to him after Trump was endorsed Tuesday by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
