A new Hillary Clinton campaign ad is slated to start airing in New York City Friday, and it uses two big endorsements to get its point across.
The 30-second ad quotes the New York Daily News and the New York Times, two papers that endorsed Clinton in the Democrat race for president.
"On Tuesday, we've got a big decision to make. And the New York Daily News and the New York Times already made theirs. Both endorse Hillary Clinton for president," the narrator says.
The narrator then reads quotes from the Daily News' and the Times' endorsements with accompanying on-screen graphics.
"Clinton is 'supremely knowledgeable' and 'results driven.' She promises to be 'a true Democratic champion.' Advancing 'an ambitious Democratic agenda' in the White House," the narrator continues.
"And the Times logs her vision in which "middle-class Americans have a real shot at prosperity.' New York's choice for president, Hillary Clinton."
Clinton and her opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, held a debate in Brooklyn's Navy Yard Thursday night.
They clashed on several issues, including guns, the Iraq War, and Wall Street.
There are 247 Democrat delegates up for grabs in Tuesday's primary. It's not a winner-take-all state, so both candidates will take delegate votes home with them.
