JD Vance: Thoughts, Prayers With Carter Family

Vice President-elect J.D. Vance issued a brief statement on Sunday following the passing of former President Jimmy Carter at the age of 100.

"Jimmy Carter dedicated his life to serving this country. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones. May he Rest in Peace," Vance wrote on X, alongside a statement from President-elect Donald Trump.

Carter passed away peacefully at his Plains, Georgia home, surrounded by family.
