A former Obama spokesperson tweeted Sunday that James Comey’s advice is not necessary, according to The Hill.

“Hey Jim, we got this covered,” Tommy Vietor wrote on Twitter following Comey’s social media post pleading with Democrats to not “lose their minds and rush to the socialist left.”

“No one is asking for your advice,” Vietor continued. “As we saw during the campaign, your judgment isn’t great! All the best, everyone.”

Comey has used Twitter consistently to slam President Donald Trump and the Republican Congress since being fired as FBI director by the president last May.
