White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday, when pressed by Fox News' Peter Doocy, said President Joe Biden condemned the violence in Portland and Seattle, reports Mediaite.

"President Biden, now President Biden, condemned protests and violence on the far right and far left before he was president," Doocy said at the daily press briefing. "Why haven't we heard anything directly from him about the riots in Portland and the Pacific Northwest since he was inaugurated?"

Psaki responded: "I will say from here that President Biden condemns violence and any violence in the strongest possible terms. Peaceful protests are a cornerstone of our democracy, but smashing windows is not protesting and neither is looting.

"Actions like these are totally unacceptable and anyone who committed a crime should be prosecuted to the fullest extent."

Seattle and Portland were rocked with violence last week, with hundreds of militants trashing buildings and expressing fury at Biden’s call for unity.

"WE DON'T WANT BIDEN — WE WANT REVENGE!" read a huge banner carried at the front of a rally in Portland, along with antifa's logo.

A mob of at least 200 vandalized Portland's Immigrations and Customs Enforcement facility and protesters in Seattle smashed several businesses, including Starbucks' first-ever coffee shop.

At least 10 were arrested in both cities.
