President Joe Biden decried recent acts of antisemitism on Friday, calling them "abhorrent."
Biden's comments came in a post on X.
He wrote: "The horrific acts of Antisemitism this week – including a demonstration celebrating the 10/7 attack, vandalism targeting Jewish homes, attacks on Jewish faculty at college campuses, and harassment of subway riders – are abhorrent. Antisemitism doesn't just threaten Jewish Americans. It threatens all Americans, and our fundamental democratic values."
Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., slammed Biden on Thursday, saying the president is seeking to appease the pro-Hamas wing of the Democratic Party by failing to take action against protesters who defaced statues with pro-Hamas slogans near the White House.
