Vice President Joe Biden accused Donald Trump of partaking in "textbook sexual assault" on the heels of several reports alleging offensive past behavior by the Republican presidential nominee.

Biden, Politico reports, talked about Trump during a Wednesday taping of NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

The vice president told Meyers he found it "astonishing" that Trump "would acknowledge that he engages in textbook sexual assault" and then boast about it "so publicly."

Biden was referring to Trump's 2005 sexually suggestive comments that were released last week and also a New York Times report detailing the claims of two women who say Trump sexually assaulted them.

Another report claims Trump walked into the dressing room area at the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant. He confirmed he did so during interviews with radio host Howard Stern, CNN reports.

Biden, Politico reported, called that "absolutely outrageous behavior. The cardinal sin of all is a man raising a hand against a woman. That is the ultimate abuse of power."

Biden also slammed Trump's self-described blue-collar roots.

"He doesn’t have the slightest notion of what it means to be a blue-collar guy," Biden said.
