GOP Rep. Justin Amash Blasts Hugh Hewitt Over Healthcare Tweet

Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mich., slammed Hugh Hewitt after the conservative radio host criticized him for opposing the GOP's healthcare bill.

Amash is a House Freedom Caucus member and a vocal critic of the GOP plan, The Hill noted.

Amash's tweet came after Hewitt had needled him for not considering arguments in support of the American Health Care Act, according to the website.

The Hill said Hewitt had earlier cast Republicans who opposed the bill as aligning with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
