The former communications director for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York is helping out Hillary Clinton's campaign for the next two weeks,
Politico reports.
Glen Caplin, now a senior vice president at public affairs agency GSG, is taking a two-week sabbatical to act as a media adviser for Clinton, according to the political news website.
Clinton is now in a tense head-to-head battle with Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont for the New York primary on April 19.
Both claim New York roots with Sanders being born in Brooklyn and Clinton having represented The Empire State as a U.S. senator and currently living in Westchester County, a bedroom community of New York City.
