The coronavirus economic stimulus package being negotiated by the Senate on Saturday will exceed $2 trillion, according to estimations by the White House National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow.

"The package is coming in at about 10% of GDP," Kudlow said. "It's very large."

That would mean more than $2 trillion, a reporter reportedly countered to Kudlow.

"That's correct," Kudlow responded, according to The Hill.

Kudlow said small businesses will be getting a payroll tax holiday under the stimulus bill, which is still under negotiations, per the report.

It was not immediately clear whether that figure included a supplemental spending proposal that Democrats support adding to this third-phase plan.

Information from Bloomberg was used in this report.
