Lou Dobbs: Mueller Is 'On a Jihad' Against Trump

(Fox Business/"Lou Dobbs Tonight")

Lou Dobbs accused special counsel Robert Mueller of being on an "ideologically inspired jihad" against President Donald Trump and bashed Republican leadership, the "cowardly fools," for allowing it to continue.

The host of Fox Business' "Lou Dobbs Tonight" went off during his show Monday while interviewing former deputy attorney general and Fox contributor Tom DuPree.

Mueller is "on a jihad of some sort, it's an ideologically inspired jihad. It is unseemly," Dobbs said.

"It is appalling what has happened and what has been permitted by the Republican leadership in both the House and the Senate. This is a disaster for the country. And the president, frankly, has been so wronged that it is almost impossible to make it all right," Dobbs told DuPree, more of a foil than guest during the segment.

"I am so frustrated and annoyed and disgusted with this entire process and the cowardly fools in our leadership of our Congress and our Senate who have permitted this to go on," Dobbs ranted.

At one point, DuPree said the way the Russia probe ends would be for Mueller to get what he wants - a sitdown interview with Trump.

"The hell with Mueller! The hell with what he wants," Dobbs said.

"This nation deserves full-time leadership and no further effort to subvert, to overthrow, the presidency of Donald J. Trump," Dobbs said.
