Madonna on Saturday while performing during the women’s march in Washington, D.C., told the crowd that she had "thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House" but that it wouldn't "change anything," Yahoo News reports.
Women's Marches, taking place across the world, were held in protest of Donald Trump's inauguration. The march in D.C. had a crowd estimate of 500,000, possibly topping the masses at Trump's inauguration.
Madonna started her speech by stating that she was angry about Trump taking office and that "good did not win this election."
"Are you still awake out there?" she asked the crowd. "Are you sure about that? Can you hear me? Are you ready to shake up the world? Welcome to the revolution of love, to the rebellion, to our refusal as women to accept this new age of tyranny. Where not just women are in danger, but all marginalized people. Where being uniquely different right now might truly be considered a crime. It took this horrific moment of darkness to wake us the f*** up."
Madonna has spoken up against Trump before and, most recently said women "betrayed Hillary Clinton," about the number of female supporters who voted for the President.
On Saturday, she rallied for change.
"To our detractors that insist that this march will never add up to anything, f*** you. F*** you. It is the beginning of much-needed change, change that will require sacrifice."
