A real estate agent who helped Paul Manafort purchase his Virginia condo two years ago testified in front of the grand jury as part of the Department of Justice's Russia investigation.

Politico reported that Wayne Holland of McEnearney Associates, based in Alexandria, Virginia, appeared in front of the grand jury sometime last week. Mueller's condo was the subject of a pre-dawn FBI raid over the summer as Mueller's team looks into whether Manafort broke any laws.

"I cannot talk about what happened in front of the grand jury," Holland told Politico. "I [testified] and it is over—I hope."

Manafort and his wife bought the Alexandria condo, which overlooks the Potomac River, for $2.7 million. The FBI conducted a no-knock raid on July 26 and seized records as Mueller looks into Manafort's work as a political consultant and as the chairman of President Donald Trump's campaign last year. Manafort was also told to expect an indictment.

There have been reports that Manafort may have violated IRS laws over the years.

Mueller's team began investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, and the probe has reportedly spread to several people with ties to the campaign.

CNN reported Friday night that the first indictments in the probe have been approved.
