Gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety is again pushing for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., to resign over new reports she advocated for violence against Democrats before she ran for office, The Hill reports.

The group, along with its grassroots networks Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action, pointed to comments reported by CNN's KFile on Tuesday in which Greene liked a Facebook comment saying "a bullet to the head would be quicker" to get rid of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

In a Facebook post from April 2018, Greene wrote about the Iran Deal, a person asked Greene in the comments: "Now do we get to hang them ?? Meaning H & O ???," a reference to former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Greene reportedly replied: "Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them off," according to KFile, which posted screen grabs of the exchanges.

Greene responded to the report with a post on Twitter:

"Fake News CNN is writing yet another hit piece on me focused on my time before running for political office. I will never back down to the enemy of the American people and neither should you."

Everytown, founded by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, previously called on Greene to resign last week when Media Matters reported she agreed with a 2018 Facebook commenter who claimed  9/11 "was done by our own gov[ernment]" and  "none of the school shootings were real or done by the ones who were supposedly arrested for them."

That included 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, and the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida.
