President Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday that the "mainstream media seldom mentions" that the stock market "could hit all-time high" today.
Recent coverage of Trump's administration has focused on his recent staff shakeups, his tweet about transgender people in the military and the Senate healthcare vote last week.
Although many news outlets reported on the market's performance, none of them mentioned Trump.
Of the three main indexes that measure the stock market's performance, the Dow Jones Industrial Average reached an all-time high on July 19, and although the Nasdaq and S&P 500 faltered last week, both had reached record highs before, according to MarketWatch.
It is, however, unclear how much of this can be attributed to Trump and not his predecessor, former President Barack Obama.
