Fox News star Megyn Kelly has come out swinging at rival CNN for its controversial hiring of Donald Trump's recently fired campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski.
"[Lewandowski is] the same guy who has threatened more than one journalist in the course of this campaign, " Kelly said on Fox, according to journalism watchdog
Poynter.org.
"[He] has had some very ugly language attributed to him when it comes to women."
Lewandowski, who will work as a paid political analyst, will probably not be able to criticize his former boss because it’s likely he signed a confidentially agreement with the Trump campaign.
"So it's not honest analysis. … It's really remarkable," Kelly said of the hire.
Lewandowski was under fire earlier this year for allegedly grabbing a then-Breitbart reporter and making suggestive comments.
After his hire, Lewandowski insisted to CNN’s Erin Burnett: "People know I'm a straightforward person. I'll tell it exactly like it is, whether you like it or not."
