A tweet linking disgraced movie czar and accused rapist Harvey Weinstein to Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin popped up on the Twitter feed of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
The post was deleted shortly after it appeared Friday morning and Flynn's son, Michael Flynn Jr., claimed his dad's Twitter account had been hacked.
But Mediaite grabbed a screen shot of the vanished tweet, which contained a photo of Weinstein sitting at a banquet table and flanked by Clinton and her top aide Abedin, who appear to be clapping.
Flynn Jr. did not give details about the alleged hacking, but his family was "currently addressing the issue."
He also said his father "doesn't have time to worry (let alone tweet about) those 3 criminals. Weinstein, Huma, and Hillary."
The Flynn tweet appeared as Weinstein surrendered in New York City to be charged with three felony counts of rape and criminal sex act. It was the first tweet that has appeared on Flynn's Twitter account in six months.
Flynn and Clinton have been bitter enemies for years.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Flynn ripped Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of State and joined with Republican National Convention attendees in chanting "Lock her up!"
And when Flynn resigned 24 days after being appointed, Clinton shared a tweet from her former aide Philippe Reines who said, "What goes around COMETS around," a reference to the fake conspiracy theory that Comet Ping Pong, a Washington pizzeria, was involved with a child sex ring run by Clinton. Flynn's son, a member of President Donald Trump's transition team, came under fire after giving credence to the phony story.
CNN's Jake Tapper reported in December 2016 that Trump gave a direct order for Flynn Jr. to be booted from the transition team.
