President Donald Trump's former attorney is reportedly prepared to help Democrats win in the midterm elections.

CNN cited a Democratic source Tuesday in claiming that Michael Cohen, who recently changed his political party status from Republican to Democrat, is interested in campaigning for left-leaning candidates.

The network reported that Cohen is willing to appear on the campaign trail, give speeches, and help fundraise for Democrats running in the Nov. 6 elections.

Cohen worked for Trump for approximately 10 years before they had a falling out earlier this year. As an extension of the Russia investigation that's probing whether the Trump campaign had an improper relationship with Russia, the FBI raided two offices, a hotel room, and an apartment tied to Cohen in April.

Cohen has since turned against Trump, and in August he pleaded guilty to multiple counts of tax evasion and other charges related to hush payments he made to women on behalf of Trump during the 2016 campaign.

It was reported this week, meanwhile, that Cohen has spent more than 50 hours speaking with investigators for several ongoing investigations.
