Huckabee Slams Snoop Dogg, Bow Wow Over Trump Assassination Video

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee threw a jab at two rappers Friday in response to a music video that depicted a mock assassination of President Donald Trump.

Huckabee, a Republican who unsuccessfully ran for president in 2008 and 2016, posted this message on Twitter:

Poop Dogg has nephew named Bow Wow; both bad dogs who advocate murder and sex slavery for @POTUS and First Lady;Who let the dogs out?

He was referring to a recent music video by Snoop Dogg that showed the rapper firing a fake gun at a clown dressed like Trump. The video drew plenty of criticism, including from the president himself:

Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!

According to the Washington Examiner, Bow Wow — whose legal name is Shad Gregory Moss — responded to Trump's tweet with an obscenity-laced message that threatened too "pimp your wife and make her work for us."
