Republican Rep. Mike Rogers has tested positive for coronavirus, The Hill reports.

The Alabama lawmaker is the fourth House member this week to announce they were infected with the virus.

He tweeted Thursday that he has “mild symptoms” and has gone into isolation.

"This morning I tested positive for COVID-19. I immediately consulted with the Office of the Attending Physician and am currently self-isolating. I am experiencing mild symptoms but otherwise I am in good spirits and looking forward to getting back to work soon," Rogers posted.

Three other Republican House lawmakers recently announced they tested positive for COVID-19, Reps. Joe Wilson of South Carolina, Barry Loudermilk of Georgia, and Ken Calvert of California.

On Tuesday, Calvert said he tested positive late last month but had since recovered. Wilson voted on the House floor on Wednesday. Hours later he said he tested positive and didn’t have any symptoms.
